Challenge!

Introduction

Welcome to Ergofiction’s second competition,
a chance for us to see your stunning submission
and showcase it on-site during our planned issue
on stories shorter than the length of a tissue.

If the words “search term challenge” ring a bell
then you know how it works, if not then I’ll tell
you right here, right now, a rather curious fact:
search terms Googled are often lacking in tact.

Back in March we ran the first round
with fourteen entries once renowned,
but time waits for no man nor story;
it’s time new faces receive some glory.

So we’re rounding up a set of six plus one
which you can donate to start the fun.
The challenge is simple, the goal is clear:
Write a story with the words we want to hear.
