… a magazine for readers and fans of webfiction.
… a place to connect, share and discuss.
… a place to hide from relatives, friends and colleagues who simply don’t understand.
… a place to unleash your insanity, spread your crazy ideas and let your inner fan(atic) out.
Ergofiction‘s mission is to become a central place for readers to find out what’s happening where, and discover the joys and woes of the webfiction world, together.
If you’re entirely new to the wonderful world of webfiction, you may want to start by checking out the introductory pages, where we cover the basics explaining what webfiction is, where to find it, and so on.
Back in the summer of 2009, Chief Editor Jan Oda came up with the idea for a reader-oriented blog-cum-magazine focused on promoting webfiction as a medium to bring new readers into the fold, as well as give current readers a place to share, discuss, and connect with other like-minded individuals.
Jan launched Ergofiction in December 2009 and has been actively promoting webfiction ever since. Of course, it would be next-to-impossible to run such a huge project alone, and as such the crew has expanded somewhat.
For more on our vision, mission, and goals, please see Jan’s self-reflection post.
